Biography
Meghan McKendree’s exploration of photography has been a journey spanning more than half of her life. She first fell in love with the art at a young age after being gifted an old Nikon film camera. Within a few years, she was developing her own black & white film and printing in the darkroom. A decade later, she began shooting with a digital camera and working with alternative processes. Currently, she’s been developing new ways to present her final images with a desire to illuminate them.
Meghan McKendree incorporated Vagabond Arts Inc. in August of 2007 with the intention to cultivate and promote her art, as well as others. In June 2011 she completed her BFA of Photography at Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition to working with her personal clients she has been interning with Joseph Guay of Coso Films LLC, gaining valuable knowledge from his experience with both the Fine Art world and the Commercial application of photography.
